8 Steps To Becoming A RockBox Owner
We understand that deciding to become a franchise owner is a huge life decision and requires a lot of thought. Committing to a franchise is a decision that should be carefully made over time, and it is important to collect as much information as possible. We understand that!
We want to be completely transparent with you and provide a detailed outline from start to finish of what our exact process looks like to become a RockBox Fitness franchise owner.
Once we have received your request inquiring about franchising with us through a RockBox Interest Form, here is what you can expect:
The goal of this call is for us to get to know you, and for you to get to know us! We’ll discuss introductory details such as “Why Franchising?”, “Why Fitness?”, and “Why RockBox?”. We’ll go over what RockBox is, what makes us different, and the qualifications we require for becoming a RockBox franchise owner. This call also serves as an opportunity for you to ask initial questions that you may have.
The next step is submitting your Round 1 Application. This provides us with the important information necessary for us to move you along in our discovery process. We don’t pull your credit and we’re not running any background checks. The purpose is to simply learn more about your interests and financial qualifications. It also includes a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) which states you won’t share the information included in this document.
3. OPENING YOUR BOX
This will be a call with our Development Team which will lay out what the timeline looks like from signing on as a franchise owner, all the way to opening your gym if you were to choose to become a franchise owner. It’s meant to give you an idea of how our team will support you throughout the lifetime of your business and the systems we’ve put in place to help you be successful in reaching your personal and business goals.
4. RUNNING THE BUSINESS
This is a second call with our Development Team in which you will dive into the details of the business itself. We will touch on sales, marketing, staffing, programs, revenue streams, and much more! This call is designed to help you understand all aspects that go into being a RockBox franchise owner.
5. FDD REVIEW:
The FDD is a legal document which is presented to prospective buyers of franchises in the pre-sale disclosure process. During this call, we will talk through the FDD and address any questions or concerns that you may have.
6. EXECUTIVE INTERVIEW:
This stage of the process is intended to help you gain a deeper understanding of the franchise by giving you the opportunity to speak with our a member of our executive team. This serves as a way for you to get to know another vital member of our team here at RockBox and discuss your plans as a franchise owner. 7. VALIDATION CALL:
This stage is optional, but if you choose, you’ll have the opportunity, along with a few other prospective franchise owners, to speak with a few of our current franchisees. They’ll answer any questions you may have about becoming a franchise owner with RockBox Fitness, and help you make a few more RockBox connections.
8. DISCOVERY DAY:
For our Discovery Day, you’ll be coming out to beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina to meet our team and local RockBox members! This is a two-day experience where you’ll get the chance to take a RockBox class at our Huntersville location, experience our atmosphere, and spend time with our corporate team whom you will be working closely with going forward!
9. REWARD DAY:
The day you’ve been waiting for it here! You’ll officially be welcomed into the RockBox Fitness family. After this, you will be placed in the very capable hands of our operations team who will walk you through the next steps to get your Box open and operating!
