Meet The RockBox Operations Team!


Our Operations Team works closely with our franchisees throughout the life of their business to set them up for success. From securing your location to ongoing training after your studio is open, they are with you every step of the way.

This team is led by our Co-Founder & Chief Experience Officer (CXO), Steve Halloran.  Steve earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Virginia Tech, and was a serial entrepreneur with corporate roots. After starting his career in sales with the largest privately held medical supply company, Medline, he moved into the branded pharmaceutical industry managing a territory for Sanofi-Aventis in the North East and earned top performance awards for sales. During his tenure with Sanofi, he also started and ran an online medical supply company serving medical offices nationally. In addition to his work in corporate America, Steve also happened to be an avid amateur boxer. Combining his love for boxing, kickboxing, and functional strength training led Steve to start his first training studio in 2013, Fast Fit Boxing.When asked which of our company values resonates with him most, his response was, “Fun! It’s all for nothing if we are not having fun along the way.”

What is your favorite RockBox class combination? Jab Cross Jab Cross Front Kick Front Kick Superman!

What song makes you most excited during a RockBox class? “Can’t Be Touched” by Roy Jones

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: I went to 9 different schools from 5th grade through college.

Up next is our Director of Sales & Operations, Erin Kalina! Erin’s main responsibilities include ensuring a successful build of all of our RockBox Fitness studios. She will be your point of contact for anything revolving the buildout of your new studio! Erin has an extensive background in the fitness franchise industry specifically on the Operations end. She is the newest member of our Operations team having recently relocated to North Carolina from Florida to join the RockBox family. When asked which of our company values resonates with her most, her response was, “Service was a value that my parents instilled in me from a young age. My dad would often say “if you aren’t helping someone else, then what are you doing?”

What is your favorite RockBox class combination? Anything with a super man punch. I practice this a million times at home and can finally say I mastered it. 

What song makes you most excited during a RockBox class? Cardi B is definitely my guily pleasure.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: I once swam to the bottom of the Mediterranean while completely alone to grab my GoPro that slipped through my fingers while swimming. I now realize how dangerous that was! 

Rounding out the Operations Team is our Product Manager, Frank Dennison. Frank’s main responsibility is to evaluate and continue to develop the RockBox workout design, to oversee trainer development, and keep a close eye on product quality and control! When asked which of our company values resonates most with him and why, he said, “Fun: If I can’t have fun doing what I love then nothing else matters.”

What song makes you most excited during a RockBox class? “#1” by Nelly

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: I’m looking to start a youtube channel based upon Barbells, Bites, and Beers, (workout, eat, travel and have fun where my family can join me)
